To tell you the truth, I don’t use this application much on my Android and iOS devices. But then again I know many use it for its features that one will probably make use of in many ways especially to save – free calls and sms. In short, it’s Kik Messenger and Skype combined!
Viber for Blackberry
Viber lets you send text and photo messages, anywhere in the world (Free calls coming soon as well). All you need is a 3G or WiFi connection, and friends who get Viber too.
I know it has been being worked on as I’ve read on Crackberry Forums but was pretty surprised it was released promptly after I read it. LOL. Anyway, it was apparently out yesterday.
At the moment, it’s perfect for those who are somewhere with wifi all the time because to be able to use it for local network internet, I think you’ll need the most expensive plan – the thing is, the other plans are either limited for social networking, emails or IM only so it’s not pretty much of use. Not many are yet “astonished” and finds its useful since most Blackberry users already have BBM – they did say in their Appworld Download Page that “free calls are coming soon“. Hopefully, it’s not a recorded voice message like the others.
