Hi there! No decent update for today. But a share of thoughts, on how frustating it is being a web host owner. Recently, one of my hosting websites were down, the other isn’t fixed yet. So yeah, go figure.
Here are the frustrations of a web host owner
1. When the sites go down, you’re deadmeat.
Get ready to taste the wrath of clients. Actually, for me, it’s even worse because I host people for free. They then make complaints, which kind of pisses you off since after all, they’re freaking hosted for free O_O Sometimes, they make more complains than the paid ones.
2. To hell with the backups.
I don’t even make my own backups. Well, not recently. I make backups of my clients more than I make mine. My lame main host back then (with my hosting website) just threw us off telling us it is not in their terms to make backups for us. It’s their damn fault when in the first place they disabled the backup tools in cPanel!
3. You take it all.
The blame, the everything. You try your best yet your hostees only see you exist when their websites are down. They haven’t even properly linked back your website after you’ve hosted them for free.
Well, there it is. Sorry if it doesn’t make sense much, to me it does though.
