Maybe you can stay at home but wouldn’t it be more exciting to still be able to watch movies on the go? That isn’t impossible nowadays, so no worries just have your list of movies for now so you can prepare them before your big trip.

1. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

Starting the year right, Hansel and Gretel is a movie that comes after of your good old fiction story about Hansel and Gretel. After their unfortunate event at the ginger bread house they have become known for getting rid of witches.  However, despite their skills – killing this one witch in town who’s collecting children as sacrifice for the Blood Moon ceremony becomes a handful. Trying to defy time, Hansel and Gretel meets new allies along the way in vanishing the witch.

2. Warm Bodies

Based on Isaac Marion’s novel with the same title - Warm Bodies is yet another love story with the “undead” but with a different twist. This movie focuses on Julie and “R”. Everyone knows how zombies are meant to forget everything and that their only desire is to feed on human blood. For some reason though, “R” has become attracted to Julie – even his other zombie friends starts showing signs of life.

3. Jack the Giant Slayer

Yet another movie for another classic fairytale is Jack the Giant Slayer. Jack, just a humble farm boy opens up the gates between two worlds. Thus, a war between humans and a race of giants begins because of the grudge they’ve had for humans. In the midst of that, Jack needs to save the princess and face this one heck of an adventure!

4. Oz: The Great and Powerful

Remember The Wizard of Oz? Well, if you do something to look forward to is this movie. It is based on Oz the Great and Powerful by L. Frank Baum which follows The Wizard of Oz. Now these some movies I’ve found interesting so far – and I know there are many more to come. While most of these aren’t available for download or dvd copy yet it’s best you’re geared up in knowing how to convert video files in avi format to mp4.

Fortunately there’s Aimersoft, a software that can be used to convert avi files to mp4 so worry not! You can easily do this by just following their tutorial on how to use it.

Aimersoft can convert your videos into various formats such as mp4, avi, 3gp that are usually what’s needed for today’s gadgets whether is in iOS OS, Android OS or Windows OS.

So, what are you waiting for? Save up some movies you can watch for summer vacation!

Parallels Desktop

Mac OS X Lion, awesome, fast and elegant – that’s how most of us see it especially because of its tag price (admit it!) However, there would be times that we’d still need old folk yet trusted Windows OS. This happens often especially with applications and games that only run on Windows.

Windows 7 on Parallels Desktop

Fortunately there are programs like Parallel’s Desktop. You can be good to go with Bootcamp but it’s kind of a hassle when you’re being asked for a blank DVD and you don’t have any around, isn’t it?

A collection of mini phones

In summary, I have finally met some of the “smallest” phones. And they’re just amazingly cute and awesome. They all have their unique abilities and unique cuteness.

My hand is about 7 inches. And you can tell now how small they are. The best of them would be my Sony Xperia ST15i (white phone there) because boasts high specs compared to the other ones with it in the picture. The Nokia X5 and Motorola Flipout are also handy and internet capable so they’re also neat. I love these phones! :)

Short Review: Motorola Flipout MB511

Remember, I just recently posted about wanting Motorola Flipout? Well I was able to get it, thanks to someone here in the World Wide Web who’s really generous.

Sorry if the picture isn’t detailed, I copied this from my Instagram account. It’s with my mom now as I gave it to her as a late gift. But I was to give it a little test.

First off, this phone runs on an Android OS which is pretty outdated but for the phone it fits. It only has a memory of 128 mb so typically this phone is good for the following purposes:

  • Viber
  • Kakaotalk
  • Emails
  • Facebook
  • Twitter

I also installed Skype and Yahoo! Messenger as my mom requested for it and so far right now, she has about 57 mb left. I dare not root since I’m not the one who’s going to use it in the long run.

Overall, it’s a phone that’s for those who just need a phone on a go because of the useful internet functions. If you’re after a ton of applications or games it’s something that wouldn’t fit well for you.

This is also ideal for kids who want to be somehow “techy”. They’ll really love it as it is also cute (believe me, I bought it for its cuteness most of all)

It also impresses me that Motorola is also doing great in the Android field. I had a phone from them once and really had a hard time, I hope it doesn’t happen to me again. I did notice this phone restarts every now and then but everything is perfect other than that.

You can buy this phone very cheap and affordable at Amazon, it’s where I bought mine(mom’s now)

Samsung Galaxy Pocket

So here’s another entry-level phone from Samsung which also runs Android OS. I’ve seen this phone in flesh too and as usual with their designs, it’s similar to Samsung Galaxy Y and the others. But of course it’s “pocket size”

So far, I think it’s plus against the others is that it’s memory which is 3 Gigabytes of memory. For an App lover, that’s indeed the best that they offered. It costs around 6k to 8k php. Finally, the whole information of specs:

Overall, I think Galaxy Pocket isn’t much but not too bad for a person seeking an android phone that’s not too bulky to bring.
