YugaTech Giveaway: Own this Sony Xperia P

After Yugatech has shared their review of Sony Xperia P they are now having a contest for you and me – a chance to win a Sony Xperia P!

Actually, I’m planning to get the Sony Xperia Mini. But with this contest, I might get something better. Hopefully!

The reason why I want to own this Sony Xperia P is because I already sold my Samsung Galaxy Mini, I wanted an upgrade, but wanting one, I don’t really have the financial aid. If you know what I mean. I want to experience a whole new “Android” feeling. Given the specs, you’d definitely love this smartphone. As I don’t have an Android fellow right now, it would be such luck if I won. I want one right now because it would make me one happy techie girl!

There are no limits to dreams. You too can join and own this Sony Xperia P!

Deleting all emails of your Yahoo! Email

Having too many emails is never easy. For one, as much as you’d like to be organized – you can’t be especially if emails come and go so often to your accounts. This often is my situation, but luckily I finally discovered how to delete all emails ALL at once.

Note that this is not possible with the classic Yahoo! email view and is only possible through their latest one. Also, this is applicable in INBOX or any folders of your email accounts.

1. Go to your desired folder or your inbox (if you plan to delete everything on your inbox)

2. As seen in the image below, click on the icon and select In Scrolling List (Hide Preview) or any of the others that’s in scrolling list. By default, Yahoo sets you to Page by Page view which only lets you view a number of emails at the time.

Delete your yahoo emails all at once!

3. Now you can click on Select AllThis time, all the emails will be selected because it’s in scrolling list view. Then simply hit Del key or delete.

Basically, we are on page view by default which hinders in selecting all emails. And that’s how it’s done! Hope this helped. I did google this and found people saying “more actions” but I couldn’t really find it D:

Twitter was down for a moment.

July 27, 201112:58-12:59 am – Twitter was down for a few minutes eh? Not my first time to see it but it’s been awhile since their recent downtime. I guess this shows that no websites can truly be up 24/7, 100%. Downtime is normal after all. Just awhile ago, even this site’s main host also had some rough time. But we’re back up.

Seeing that it’s so rare for such even I made sure I get a print screen of how twitter looks like midst its downtime.

Browserling

I’m not supposed to blog. But I couldn’t resist to blog about this awesome site I’ve stumbled to. Called, browserling. Cute isn’t it? It’s not just cute, but helpful!

Browserling

It’s not as fast as retired viewlike.us’ but at least works (and gui is really cute, aliens!!!)! You can even check your site in all browsers! So, no need to install them 8D

I stumbled to this while working on my portfolio. Hopefully to be done soon. This is pretty helpful for web designers and web developers in making web apps or websites so I thought of posting it :) Well, so much for that time to do stuff now :”)

Purchasing from Nokia Ovi Store

As I mentioned before, I’ve been hooked to my Nokia X5 again. Aside from these I’ve discovered how to purchase from Nokia Ovi Store a few months ago. In our country, Philippines – they don’t really allow usage of Visa Cards like how it was with iTunes. So it’s pretty much of a hassle. Not even by Gcash or Smartmoney. But somehow near, I guess.

I purchased 3 themes which I will also introduce for my Nokia X5 website, Strawberried (strawberried.net) but it’s not open yet. Sorry. Among all my purchased themes though, my favorite is Dino.

Dino Theme from MMMOOO

Dino Theme from MMMOOO

This is from MMMOOO, I also bought the Blackberry version of this but you know, it’s wayyyy better in Nokia. Why oh why? I wish they ported those cute icons. The colors blend in well so much. Just perfect for my candy phone!

To purchase from Nokia Ovi Store

1. Create your Nokia Ovi Account (you will be asked upon log in Nokia Store)

You can also check this through Options -> Sign in/Register -> Settings

2. Just follow the instructions. The key here is to make sure you’ve filled up what your primary phone number is

and that you’ve selected Phone Bill as your payment gateway during your account setup.

3. Load up your phone with load and of how much you’re gonna need (Autoload, Smart eLoad)

4. At Nokia Ovi Store, simply purchase or hit buy. Your load will be deducted of how much the application or theme you bought is.

That simple! However, it’d really be much better if purchases using Visa Cards and Master Cards were possible. Even Gcash and Smartmoney would do.
